We began the day speaking about President Trump's summit in Singapore with North Korea's Kim Jong Un. With all the hype in the American media about this issue, the lectures from Professor Alobeid and Professor Roussos were a nice break from the non stop coverage. After the two lectures, we visited the monastery that is run by the nuns, which was the highlight of my day.
The nuns were very welcoming and down to earth. They also showed us great hospitality, while being very informative about the history of the monastery. The scenic views at the monastery were amazing and I would love to visit again one day. The theme of religion yesterday began with Middle Eastern politics and ended at a local monastery. I very much enjoyed it all.
