Almost everyone dreams to visit Rome, a beautiful city
overflowing with breathtaking ruins from the past. Our experience in Rome is
something I will never forget. It was incredible to see all the layers of history
as we walked through the city. We saw beautiful structures, such as the Pantheon,
that have incomprehensible years of history within them. The Pantheon went from
being an ancient Roman temple to a church. This is a perfect example of how religious beliefs change through the years, while structures like the Pantheon remain and have different meanings. Inside the Pantheon there was also a memorial
for the founding father of Italy, King Vittorio Emanuele II, and his son. I think it is amazing how just one
building can hold innumerable memories that go so far back in history.
