Yesterday, we visited the University of the Aegean in Rhodes and received two lectures in regards to the refugee/ migration crisis.  I found the lectures quite informative because of the immense amount of information these lectures had to offer.  They not only targeted the major issues which are driving the migration, but addressed the issues of implementation that international structures have in trying to solve some of these issues.  The major issues that were addressed were that of few legal migration routes provided which leads to many illegal migrations and the failure of relocating these migrants and refugees to EU states.  The presentations were set up in a similar way as a policy paper would be set up.  This was perfect because of our ongoing policy paper which was due last night.
